The Black McDonald’s Operators Association of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana are partners and leaders, dedicated to providing resources across their communities in an effort to help build stronger neighborhoods.

These dedicated owner-operators are deeply invested in effecting positive and enduring change within their communities. They prioritize addressing the challenges faced by families and the African American culture as a whole. The Black McDonald’s Operators Association of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana exemplifies its commitment to this mission through its core principles of EMPOWERING MINDS AND BUILDING LEADERS.

Tonnette R. Williams

Tonnette R. Williams, affectionately known as Toni, is a Chicago Native.  Toni grew up in Calumet Heights Area on the south-east side of Chicago.  Tonnette attended St. Ailbe Catholic Grade School and Unity Catholic High School.

Tonnette received a BS in Elementary Education and attended Southern Illinois University as an undergraduate student.  Tonnette was initiated into Alpha Kappa Sorority on that same campus Spring Semester, 1988.

Tonnette received Master’s of Science in Curriculum and instruction from Chicago State University and a Master of Education from University of Illinois, Chicago in Educational Administration and Leadership.

After college, Tonnette became a Chicago Public School Teacher.  Tonnette worked for the Board of Education for 10 before opening a childcare center on 80th Western and shortly expanded to the campus of the US Paul Simon Job Corp, on 33rd Kedzie.

Tonnette is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois.  Tonnette has been a real estate broker and investor for over 25 years.

Tonnette became a McDonald’s Owner Operator in 2019.  Toni owned and operated the Bronzeville restaurant on 35th and Indiana.  She sold that location and now owns a McDonald’s located at 47th and Cicero down the street from Midway Airport.

Tonnette currently has dual residency.  She resides in South Holland and Lake Point Tower.

Tonnette is the proud mother of one 11year old daughter, Lauren Alexis.  Lauren is in 6th grade and attends Calvary Christian Academy in South Holland, IL.  Lauren is a budding musician- she plays violin, harp and flute.  Lauren also enjoys playing tennis and volleyball.
